FC Way Skills Academy at Family Christian Academy

More Than Soccer. Building Character.

FC Way Skills Academy

What Is the FC Way Skills Academy?

The FC Way Skills Academy is an 8-week after-school academy and Saturday Development Program created exclusively for Family Christian Academy Lower School students.

The academy combines professional soccer coaching with intentional character development in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment—all on FCA's campus.

Every session helps children grow in confidence, leadership, teamwork, and technical ability while developing a lifelong love for the game.

Why FC Way?

More Than Soccer. Building Character.

At FC Way, we believe soccer is the tool—not the destination.

Every training session is intentionally designed to develop confident players, strong character, and future leaders.

Our mission is simple:

To develop confident players, build strong character, and cultivate leadership through the game of soccer.

Have a question? We've answered some of the most common questions below. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to contact us—we're happy to help.

  • Can siblings register?

Yes. Each child must complete a separate registration to ensure accurate player information, emergency contacts, and program placement.

  • How do I register?

Registration is completed online at fcwaysoccer.com/fca.

  • Is there an enrollment limit?

Yes. Enrollment is limited to maintain small coach-to-player ratios and provide every player with a high-quality developmental experience.

  • What happens if it rains?

The safety of our participants is our highest priority. In the event of inclement weather or unsafe field conditions, FC Way may delay, modify, relocate, or cancel a scheduled session. Families will be notified as early as reasonably possible. While FC Way will make every reasonable effort to provide the full academy experience, weather-related cancellations do not guarantee a make-up session.

  • How does the transition from school work?

Students enrolled in FCA Aftercare will be escorted by FC Way coaches from Aftercare to the soccer field before the academy begins. Students not enrolled in Aftercare may be dropped off directly at the field prior to the start of the session.

  • Who can participate?

The FC Way Skills Academy is open exclusively to Family Christian Academy Lower School students (Pre K, Kindergarten–5th Grade).

  • What should my child bring?

Players should wear athletic clothing, soccer cleats or athletic shoes, shin guards, and bring a labeled water bottle. FC Way will provide all training equipment.
