Looking for a Step Up for Students approved soccer program in Port Charlotte? FC Way Soccer is an approved provider, so Florida families can use PEP and UA scholarship funds for our Homeschool Academy and camps, with no out-of-pocket payment and no waiting for reimbursement. Here's exactly how it works.
If your family receives a Florida scholarship, you can use your funds to cover the cost of:
- FC Way Winter Camp (Port Charlotte, 2026)
- FC Way Spring & Summer Camp (Port Charlotte, 2027)
- FC Way Homeschool Academy (Sonshine Campus, Port Charlotte)
What Scholarships Are Accepted?
You can use funds from the following Step Up programs for our athletic programs:
- PEP (Personalized Education Program)
- UA (Unique Abilities)
- FES-EO / FTC / FES-UA (where applicable — check your scholarship type)
Step 1: Secure Your Step Up Funds
Log in to your Step Up account to allocate your scholarship funds toward the program before registering with us.
- Log in to your Step Up for Students account
- Go to the Marketplace (found on the left-hand menu)
- Click Find Provider and select the correct Student
- In the Search tab, type "FC Way" and click Search
- Select FC Way, then choose the correct Location for your program:
- Summer Camp → [Registration not open yet]
- Homeschool Academy → FC Way Soccer: Homeschool Academy (Sonshine Campus)
- Choose your Quantity:
- Summer Camp: enter the number of children attending
-
Homeschool Academy: enter the number of days per week your child will attend. This is not the number of children. Each weekly day is a separate $105.00 charge that covers that day for the full 8-week session. Students can attend 1 or 2 days per week:
- 1 day/week → Quantity: 1
- 2 days/week → Quantity: 2
-
Note: Session 2 of the Homeschool Academy is 8 weeks long (previously 6 weeks). The $105.00 price covers all 8 weeks for each day selected.
- Add to Cart and Checkout
Step 2: Register with FC Way
Once your Step Up funds are secured, complete your registration with us:
- Homeschool Academy: Go to fcwaysoccer.com/hsa — this link automatically applies your Step Up discount, bringing your total to $0. Just fill out your child's details and select the day(s) that match what you purchased in Step Up.
Note: Both steps are required. Securing your funds in Step Up does not automatically register your child with FC Way — you still need to complete Step 2 to confirm your child's spot and select their schedule.
Please Commit to the Full Session
We work directly with Step Up so that you don't have to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed. Because of how the Step Up program works, FC Way can only invoice Step Up after services have been provided. In other words, we coach your child first and receive payment afterward.
When your child enrolls in the Homeschool Academy, we reserve their spot for the full 8-week session. Coaches are scheduled, groups are planned, and your child's place is held just for them. If a Step Up order is canceled after the session has started, we are unable to receive payment for the classes your child has already attended.
We ask that families please be mindful of this before canceling. If something changes for your family, reach out to us first at hello@fcwaysoccer.com or (941) 219-5873. We're always happy to talk through your situation and find the best solution together.
